Susan G. Komen's Race for the Cure-Join Our Team

Race for the Cure is a annual event held by Susan G. Komen to raise money for breast cancer research.  Breast cancer is a type of cancer where cells in the breast tissue divide and grow without normal control. It is a widespread and random disease, striking women and men of all ages and races. It is the most prevalent cancer in the world today, with about 1.3 million people diagnosed annually. The exact cause of the disease is unknown. 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed in their lifetime.

We race to honor the survivors, rememeber the fighters and to raise money not only for research but support for those who are fighting the fight. Last year Lubbock's Race for the Cure raised between $75,000 and $175,000. Last year our team, Rockin' Reconstruction, won the VIP tent by being the team that raised the most money. This years race will be held on Saturday October, 4th and we want to invite our friends, family and patients to join us by either joining or donating to our team.  You can click the link below to sign up or donate.

Welcome to our blog!

We're excited to announce the official launch of our Eric Minns, MD, PA-Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery blog.

We'll be posting helpful tips, news from the plastic surgery industry, news from our practice, and more about the latest in plastic surgery.

We built our practice on the notion that we're there for our patients when they need us and we want our online presence to be a reflection of that principle. We hope this blog provides an extra level of service to our current and future patients.

If you would like to stay up to date on the latest from Eric Minns, MD, PA-Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, simply click the RSS “Subscribe to feed” link located on our website and subscribe. Our subscribers will be updated when we make a new blog post.
